UNC Rex Hospital is a not-for-profit facility that began serving Raleigh and the surrounding communities in 1894. It is a 660-bed hospital that includes emergency care, women's care, surgical services (such as bariatric and heartburn), orthopedic services, neurology, pain management and sleep disorder services.
