The Stefanie Spielman Comprehensive Breast Center is the first of its kind in the Midwest, offering a full continuum of breast cancer care — from prevention and screening through detection, diagnosis, treatment and survivorship — all in one world-class facility. At the Center, our internationally renowned breast cancer experts focus on preventing, detecting, treating and yes, curing, breast cancer by working together across numerous medical disciplines (medical, surgical and radiation oncologists; radiologists; pharmacists; reconstructive surgeons; pathologists and more) to design the very best treatment plan and therapies to target your specific breast cancer. Care also includes meeting with numerous specialists across all breast cancer disciplines, all on the same day, all in one location, with all of your questions answered at one time. From there, these experts work with you to create a comprehensive, individualized treatment plan that is designed solely for you, considering your specific kind of breast cancer as well as your unique biological makeup, genetics and individual medical history. Our name honors Stefanie Spielman: a wife, mother, advocate and alumna of The Ohio State University. Her breast cancer diagnosis inspired her to become a passionate advocate to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research. Stefanie’s legacy and her inspiring quest to help find a cure for breast cancer come to life in our innovative, world-class facility.
