Each year, hundreds of people seek medical services at the Sheridan County Health Complex which includes the Sheridan County Hospital, Hoxie Medical Clinic, Long Term Care Unit and Assisted Living Unit. Our staff is committed to improving the health and wellbeing of all those in Sheridan County and the surrounding region. The programs and services we provide go beyond statistics and numbers, as we often serve those who do not have the means to pay for needed health care services. The Sheridan County Health Complex provides a safety net for vulnerable populations who have no health insurance. We provide individuals with Medicare or Medicaid expert medical care and access to the latest medical technologies, despite the fact that these government programs offer fixed reimbursements that often do not fully cover the costs for the scope of care and treatment needed. The Sheridan County Health Complex offers a variety of free or low cost educational programs, support groups and health screenings each year. We provide a variety of direct health care services that are not profitable, but fulfill a great need in the community and region.
