Founded in 1955 in Tacoma, Washington, we are southwest Washington's only pediatric hospital and state-designated Level II Pediatric Trauma Center, and the only hospital in the South Sound dedicated to caring for the special health needs of the children. When your child stays at Mary Bridge Children's Hospital, their care team includes specially trained pediatric nurses and a wide range of board-certified pediatric specialists — including our full-time inpatient pediatric physicians who serve as extension of your child's regular doctor and are available onsite 24 hours a day.
