Since April of 2016, the Mount Sinai Health System has been operating a health center serving the members of the Unite HERE! Local 54 Union in Atlantic City, NJ. The health center provides primary and urgent care exclusively to union members. The staff are Mount Sinai employees and clinicians who work in close collaboration with the Unite HERE Health (UHH) team to implement new workflows and programs not bound by the fee for service payment model. In addition, the health center's employees have access to Mount Sinai's experience and findings related to clinical and operational innovations in the provision of patient care.
