On the heels of our successful $1.5 million capital campaign, the Clark Fork Valley Hospital Foundation was formed as a tax-exempt organization to solely support the mission and needs of Clark Fork Valley Hospital and its related entities. The Foundation, originally the Clark Fork Medical Foundation, reorganized itself in 2006 to become a sole-support foundation whose purpose is to establish and maintain relationships with individuals, businesses and others who support the hospital's mission and have the willingness and means to make contributions to our organization.
Gifts to the Foundation are given to the hospital for much-needed purposes, including the purchase of equipment, program support, capital improvements and needs of the department specified by the donor. Gifts donated to the Foundation are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
Those of us who are employees or volunteers see miracles happening every day at our hospital. The compassion or "hometown" touch our providers, nurses and other staff give patients every day is an amazing thing to see. Lives are saved, suffering is lessened, recovery is aided and the personal care that a small "hometown" hospital can provide are evidenced on a regular basis.
