The Nomad Navigators are Nomad's superteam of specialists trained to provide concierge-level support to all nurses on Nomad. Navigators aren't like your typical agency recruiter and don't earn commission on placements. They will guide you throughout your clinical job search, triage any problems you encounter, and ensure your journey to finding the perfect job is smooth. They will also be your point of contact throughout your assignment if you ever need to reach someone.
Each member of our team of Nomad Navigators specializes in a different part of the process. They are not competing recruiters, but all members of the same team working together to help you land the assignment.
Once you apply to a Nomad job, a member of our team will review it and ensure all documents are compiled to send to the facility.
We send over your application to the facility for their review. A member of our team will update you on your status and send over any received offers!
As you prepare to begin your assignment, we will collect all documentation needed for hire. Once you are cleared, you will be ready to start!
Throughout your assignment, you will have a point of contact who will check in with you regularly to ensure you are having a great experience.

Nomad is the first free network for clinicians to freely find great travel opportunities, without agency recruiters, and with full transparency on job details. We don’t employ traditional recruiters, which enables us to offer clinicians some of the industry’s highest pay rates. In place of these traditional recruiters, our team of Nomad Navigators helps clinicians apply for the jobs they want and provide support once they’re on assignment.
We’re different from traditional agencies in a number of ways. First, Nomad’s platform empowers clinicians like you to freely search our database for jobs that fit your needs and interests. Our listings provide full transparency when it comes to the job details you’re looking for.
We also don’t have traditional recruiters on staff. Instead, we have a team of Nomad Navigators! With no recruiters that take commission, we’re able to offer our clinicians higher pay rates.
Yes! All of our clinicians are W-2 employees of Nomad Nurses Inc. and have access to a highly attractive benefits package. This benefits package includes (but is not limited to) things like reimbursement for licensing and certification, medical/dental/vision plans, and travel reimbursement.
Nomad doesn’t have recruiters like those you would find at a traditional agency, but that doesn’t mean that you’ll be left alone to figure things out. Instead, we have a team of Nomad Navigators on staff that you can think of as partners who will help you through every step of the application process and provide support while you’re on assignment.
We require our clinicians to have at least 1 year of experience in the specialty that they're applying for, within the last 2 years. With that said, our facility partners may have different requirements that will supersede our minimum qualifications. Be sure to check the details on the job page before applying.
Nomad is currently licensed to staff clinicians in all 50 states and the District of Columbia!
