Nomad is the first free network for nurses to freely find great travel opportunities, without agency recruiters, and with full transparency on job details. We don’t employ traditional recruiters, which enables us to offer nurses some of the travel nurse industry’s highest pay rates. In place of these traditional recruiters, our team of Nomad Navigators helps nurses apply for the jobs they want and provide support once they’re on assignment.
We’re different from traditional agencies in a number of ways. First, Nomad’s platform empowers nurses like you to freely search our database for jobs that fit your needs and interests. Our listings provide full transparency when it comes to the job details you’re looking for.
We also don’t have traditional recruiters on staff. Instead, we have a team of Nomad Navigators! With no recruiters that take commission, we’re able to offer our nurses higher pay rates.
Yes! All of our nurses are W-2 employees of Nomad Nurses Inc. and have access to a highly attractive benefits package. This benefits package includes (but is not limited to) things like reimbursement for licensing and certification, medical/dental/vision plans, and travel reimbursement.
Nomad doesn’t have recruiters like those you would find at a traditional agency, but that doesn’t mean that you’ll be left alone to figure things out. Instead, we have a team of Nomad Navigators on staff that you can think of as partners who will help you through every step of the application process and provide support while you’re on assignment.
We require our nurses to have at least 2 years of RN experience and at least 1 year of experience in the specialty that they’re applying for, all within the last 3 years. With that said, our facility partners may have different requirements that will supersede our minimum qualifications. Be sure to check the details on the job page before applying.
Nomad is currently licensed to staff RNs in all 50 states and the District of Columbia!
Our job listings are constantly updating, so if you don't find anything you’re interested in, please check back with us periodically at nomadhealth.com.
