Pulmonary/Critical Care with UPMC Altoona

Job description

UPMC Altoona is seeking a Pulmonology/Critical Care physician to join a practice of 2 pulmonologists.

• Flexible practice set-up to include Pulmonary Disease or a mix of Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care work

• Practice call schedule: 1:3 (ICU and vent management handled by separate ICU team) 


Blair Medical Associates – Pulmonology department is currently comprised of 2 pulmonologists, and 1 physician assistant. BMA Pulmonology provides care to patients referred by ARHS physicians as well as patients referred from the 70+ primary care physicians in the community who are on the hospital’s medical staff. Opportunity to incorporate a physician extender into practice in the future as volume increases.
