Job description The Psychiatrist provides a wide range of mental health services to patients and families in a variety of settings, diagnoses, conduct therapy, and prescribe medication for patients who have psychiatric disorders, medical organic brain disorders or substance abuse problems in an outpatient setting. Responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of case management services and counseling, and facilitation of support groups for clients with health related issues and reports to the VP, Behavioral Health. Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, and with patients, visitors, and outside agencies. Must demonstrate successful crisis management skills, with experience in diffusing difficult situations. The psychiatrist is engaged in the diagnosis of mental health, psychiatric disorders, and related health status. Adult, Child and Substance Abuse background preferred

Candidate Requirements Florida Candidates must be board certified/eligible. In-person interview • BC/BE in Psychiatry
• Looking for 4+ years of experience, might look at newer grad too
• Bilingual is a huge plus
• Must work with kids as young as 4 or 5
• Max Suboxone numbers highly desired
• Graduate of an approved Medical School
• Residency program completion in psychiatry
• Current Florida License
• Current DEA Certificated
