Paid time off (“PTO”) is available to physician employees to use for vacation, sick days, personal time, holidays, CME, and any other reason for which they require time away from work. Physician employees will receive PTO in accordance with the number of years worked, as listed below:
Less than 5 years: 264 hours of paid time off per calendar year
5 years or more: 288 hours of paid time off per calendar year
Call schedule: 12 calls/1 weekend per month; average number of newborns, inpatients and after hour phone calls per day is 2; newborn rounding; attend high risk deliveries, stabilize and ship premature and sick newborns, admit medical and surgical inpatients, on call to ER for admissions, consults and stabilize and ship situations
Expected patient load: 20-22 patients daily average in clinic + 1-3 newborns and 0-1 inpatients on call days Procedures Procedures needed: circumcisions, umbilical lines, intubations, IVs, feeding tubes - strong backup resources available Medical records system Meditech
