Cape Fear Valley Medical Center is 942-bed, 8-hospital regional medical center that includes a 44 bed level III NICU, and a 28 bed Pediatric Unit. The family birth center delivers 5,000 infants annually. The Pediatric Emergency Department has 17 beds and staffed by full time pediatric emergency medicine specialist.
This opportunity places a strong emphasis on clinical services and program growth. Responsibilities include clinical coverage for the PICCS, participation in program development. Teaching supervision is available. Clinical services include coverage of the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, Pediatric Hospitalist Service, and a Pediatric Procedural Sedation Service.
