Occupational Medicine at Erie County Medical Center

Job description The Center for Occupational and Environmental Medicine provides a diverse range of clinical services including diagnostic programs, early detection, treatment, workers comp and disability management, referral, social work and wellness in the workplace. The primary goal of the COEM is to prevent workplace illness and injury. The work involves providing clinical services, and academic functions in the daily operation of the COEM.



ADMINISTRATIVE and CLINICAL FUNCTIONS:

As the staff physician, the incumbent participates in hands-on clinical care, assisting in training for nurses and non-clinical team members, and delivering optimum care to patients. Work is performed under the direct supervision of the Medical Director, Chief Medical Officer, Medical Director of Outpatient Specialty Care, and Vice-President of Ambulatory Care, in addition to receiving guidance from a community based advisory board.

QUALIFICATIONS:

MD or DO required, Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Occupational Medicine.
