Seeking an OB/GYN for an employment opportunity with The Hospitals of Providence East Campus in El Paso, TX.

Benefits $281,000 — $357,000 A sign on bonus is negotiable. 401K is offered with a matching amount of 50% up to 3% of eligible pay based on contribution. Up to 4 weeks of paid vacation in addition to scheduled holidays. Paid fees for CME's. Provides reimbursement for Texas license fees. Candidate Requirements Texas Candidates must be board certified/eligible. 1 year minimum experience Phone interview Spanish a nice to have, not a need to have. Looking for a collegial candidate to join an established 4 provider team, how is well versed in obstetrics & gynecology. The call will be 1:4.
Clinical Workload — Inpatient This will vary based on the provider. The average census for outpatient is about 20-25 and for inpatient, it may be 1-2 every three days, but again, this will vary. Again, this will vary based on the workload and number of outpatients and term of pregnancy. The 4 doctors are averaging about 20-30 deliveries each per month. We are looking for a general OB/GYN. The doctor may choose to perform procedures that are common bread and butter procedures within the OB/GYN specialty. If they are robotically trained, that will be a plus. We do have 2 DaVinci robots. Clinical Workload — Outpatient This will vary based on provider, but it averages out to be abut 20-25 patients per day. The doctor should be able to provide the typical bread and butter procedures for OB/GYN providers. athenahealth
