Job description Vidant Medical Group, located in Greenville, North Carolina, is expanding and seeking a Medical Director to lead a new outpatient neurology team. Applicants should be board certified and have at least 5 years of clinical experience. Candidates with subspecialty interest or fellowship training in Movement Disorder, Epilepsy, Neuromuscular, Headache, or MS are encouraged to apply. Prior leadership experience required. The successful candidate will assist with the recruitment of an outpatient neurology team and provide oversight into all aspects of the development of outpatient neurology services. Vidant Medical Center, a 974-bed level 1 trauma facility, serves as the regional leader for Neurosciences and is the only Comprehensive Stroke Center in eastern North Carolina.

Greenville is located 80 miles west of the beautiful North Carolina coastline and 80 miles east of Raleigh.

Vidant Health’s Neuroscience program uses a multidisciplinary approach to provide a range of services to include diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of patients with neurological disorders.
