Neurology care at Auburn Community Hospital is provided through its affiliate, Neurology Services of Auburn. The hospital, together with Neurology Services of Auburn, has become a designated Stroke Center in conjunction with the University of Rochester's Strong Memorial Hospital. It is an effort that underlies our commitment to providing the highest level of stroke care to the patients in our community. As a Stroke Center, Auburn Community Hospital has access to all of the technological and professional resources of Strong Memorial Hospital, providing the intense level of care stroke treatment demands, and access to their highly skilled specialists.
Our Team Headed by our Neurologist Dr. Ijaz Rashid, our team of medical professionals provides immediate and sustained care to our neurological and stroke patients. This highly skilled team includes our ECU Physicians, Hospitalists, Respiratory Therapist, Laboratory Technician, Pharmacist and Nursing specialists.
