Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS), located in beautiful Central New York, is accepting applications for a NeuroCritical Care (NCC) physician to join its rapidly growing service line, which is applying to become a comprehensive stroke center, within the next 12 months. This busy service line currently has a physician servicing NCC/stroke patients and plans to reach a final complement of three NCC/stroke physicians. This role will require the physician to not only admit patients and provide consults in the ICU, but also round on the Stroke Unit. The physician will enjoy the support of robust 24/7 Neuroendovascular and Neurosurgical support, as well as two advanced practice providers.

The ideal candidate will have completed a fellowship in NeuroCritical Care or Stroke Care, be board eligible or certified, be able to be licensed to practice medicine in the State of New York, and be committed to providing quality clinical care.

MVHS is transforming healthcare from excellent to exceptional. By early 2023, Central New York will be home to a new regional medical center. MVHS is working with community partners to build a 373 bed, 672,000-square-foot hospital and integrated medical center in downtown Utica. This new hospital will ensure that accessible, high-quality and advanced medical care is available in this region- for today and tomorrow.

MVHS provides a compensation package which includes a competitive salary guarantee with a productivity bonus and quality incentives, thirty-five days paid time off and a CME allowance of $5,000.
