In addition to providing excellent patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, the successful candidate will be actively involved in educating medical students, internal medicine residents and nephrology fellows.
The Robert C. Byrd Health Sciences Center has a full complement of academic programs in the clinical and basic sciences.
Opportunities also exist in clinical research.
While this position will be based at the main campus in Morgantown, WV, all section faculty have the opportunity to participate in rural outreach care at several outpatient clinics as well as both freestanding outpatient and inpatient dialysis units.
Successful candidates must have an MD, MD/PhD or DO degree (the employer accepts foreign educational equivalent) and be eligible to obtain an unrestricted West Virginia medical license.
Candidates must be board certified in internal medicine and certified or eligible in nephrology at the time of appointment. Faculty rank and salary will be commensurate with credentials.
