Job description Seeking Neonatologist for Established Group Practice in Meridian, MS – Serving Community Hospitals with no commute and great vacation time;
Neonatal Services, Ltd., in Meridian, MS is seeking a neonatalogist to join its established practice. The group currently has two neonatologists and four NNPs and provides coverage between two large hospital systems in the area- Rush Foundation Hospital and Anderson Regional Medical Center. The group serves the patients of East MS and West AL, encompassing over 350,000 patients per year and 2500 deliveries.

Clinicial Workload - Inpatient 12 babies combined between two NICUs located a block apart 250-300 NICU admissions per year; 2500 well baby admissions per year. Must be excellent at intubation, placing umbilical catheters, chest tubes and PICC lines. Diagnose and treat newborns that need NICU care (two Level III NICUs). Coordinate care and medically manage newborns born premature, critically ill or in need or surgery 26 weeks or above. Both NICUs have CMV and oscillators; no cooling, no surgery, no ECMO. McKesson
