BC Maternal & Fetal Medicine/OBGYN Needed for Ongoing Coverage in Greensboro, NC

Job description Cone Health is seeking a BC Fellowship-trained MFM, OB/GYN, Neonatal-Perinatal physician for ongoing coverage starting on August 1, 2019.

Additional Details:

• Must be B/C in OB/GYN and prefer B/C in MFM but will look at B/E

• Specialty Needed: Maternal Fetal Medicine

• Will you accept Multiple providers: Yes

• Schedule Hours for Clinic /Hospital: 8am-5pm (M - F)

• Schedule Days Clinic /Hospital: Monday - Friday

• Number of patients seen per day in clinic: 35-40 for ultrasounds/ up to 6 for MD consults

• Call Night /Weekend: Mon-Thurs (5p-8a); Friday (5p-12a) Sat-Sun/Mon (24 hrs per day + 8 hrs)

• What is the Number of phone Consults: three - four

• What are the days for Call: Mon-Thurs (5p-8a); Friday (5p-12a) Sat-Sun/Mon (24 hrs per day + 8 hrs)

• What Time does the Call start 5p - 8a each weekday 24 hour Saturday and Sunday until 8 am Monday morning

• What Time does Call end: 8am each weekday

• Age of patients: Reproductive age: 13-50 years old

• Inpatient /Outpatient: 90% outpatient and 10% inpatient

• Type of Charting /EMR: EPIC

• Board Certified or Board Eligible: B/C - OB/GYN prefer B/C - MFM but will consider B/E - MFM

• Is Fellowship required: Yes - MFM

• Reason For Need: Terminating MFM contract and begin employing MFM docs

• How Long Does Credentialing Take: 60 days at best

• Are Temp Privileges Granted: NO

• Travel and Lodging: Yes

• Rounding: No

• Average Number of Admissions per shift - The current MFM's do not have admitting privileges. They recommend admission for approx 2 /week by calling OB provider who admits the patient.
