In addition the physician will help navigate patients through the care system and process assuring that they have the means and ability to overcome barriers (financial, transportation, language, literacy, social) and receive needed/recommended care in a timely, organized, and comprehensive manner- eliminating no-shows and loss to follow-up while also maintaining confidentiality of all information.
• Current license to practice medicine in the State of WV
• Board certified or board eligible with preference given to board certified
• Highly organized and well-developed oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrate sound judgment, decision making and problem solving skills
• Understanding of current recognized standards of care within the scope of licensure
• Thorough knowledge of applicable State and Federal laws and regulations
• Valid DEA number
• Current CPR certification
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, families, medical staff and co-workers
• Support practice missions and goals
