Our hematologic oncologists have the support of advanced practitioners, a social worker, a transplant coordinator, a nurse navigator, and specialized inpatient/outpatient nursing with access to an onsite infusion center, blood bank, and stem cell lab. Responsibilities include coverage of an inpatient unit and consultation on admitted hematologic malignancy patients. There are opportunities for clinical trials. The ideal candidate will have experience with the care of autologous and allogeneic transplant patients, cryopreservation and apheresis knowledge. An academic background and publications in the field of hematologic malignancies is also required.
Candidates must have the following qualifications:
- Specialty training in stem cell transplantation
- Experience with stem cell processing, apheresis, treatment of acute leukemia
- Experience seeking FACT accreditation
