General Surgeon, a Grand View Medical Practice

Candidate Requirements Pennsylvania Candidates must be board certified/eligible. In-person interview Job Description: Be a member of a prestigious group of general and specialty surgeons. The Grand View Medical Practices surgical service line includes Bariatric, Breast, General, Laparoscopic, and Vascular. Work collegially with Administrators, GVH directors and/or managers, GVH peri-operative staff, and physicians to provide the best general surgical care for our patients. Work in Grand View Hospital and at the new Grand View Surgery Center. Rotating Surgical Call required. Position Responsibilities: • Supports best clinical practices and promote effective management of clinical and financial resources. • Understands and efficiently uses MediTech, and complete/document in all charts in a timely fashion and consistent with hospital guidelines. • Manage appropriate and effective use of APPs. • Demonstrates the interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with staff members, patients and their families, physicians, and hospital personnel. • Complies with all Joint Commission, Department of Health, and GVH policies and procedural requirements. Minimum Requirements: Medical degree, PA State licensure, Board Certification in General Surgery at a minimum. Experience working in an EMR environment (MediTech experience a plus). Licensure and Certifications: PA State medical license.
