Job description

The Family Practice Physician will provide primary healthcare to patients. Develops and implements a plan of care for patient with focus on prevention and early detection in accordance with accepted healthcare guidelines. Provides information and feedback to patients on a timely basis, enabling them to assume responsibility for their own health. Maintains complete, accurate and up-to-date medical records, documenting all aspects of care given. Makes referrals as necessary and works with Centro San Vicente staff and other healthcare providers to assure continuity of care and multidisciplinary healthcare.

Benefits $125,236 — $173,076 403B plan with 50% match up to 6% of earnings. 16 days of PTO accrued per year, with additional PTO accrued based upon years of service. $1,000 per year reimbursement for Continuing Medical Education costs. Additional 5 days paid time off for Continuing Medical Education. Provide reimbursement for medical and DEA license. Candidate Requirements Texas Candidates must be board certified/eligible. In-person interview Spanish Graduate from an accredited medical school, postgraduate internship, and residency training. Board eligible or Board Certified in Primary Care, (i.e. Family Practice, Pediatrics, and Internal Medicine). Meet all qualifications to be covered in Texas for Professional Liability Insurance. Current Texas driver’s license Experienced in community based primary care preferred. Experience in the clinically-related management aspects of primary care administration including cost efficient clinical management, medical policy development and clinical outcome measures. Experience in community-oriented or population-based medicine and requirements for Joint Commission for the Accreditation of Health Care Organizations. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
