The Vice Chair/Medical Director for this position is charged with promoting faculty and staff development, clinical research, education, and quality improvement for the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health. This position will coordinate educational initiatives for faculty; expand quality initiatives for faculty; coordinate clinical care that integrates both inpatient and outpatient services; promote clinical research capabilities for our faculty; further the educational experience of our learners at all levels of the educational continuum; and align quality improvement initiatives of our resident and faculty with strategic initiatives.
Clinical opportunities exist in a wide range of services including outpatient and inpatient service. An interest in teaching is preferred as the Family Medicine Division is very active in educational endeavors involving inter-professional trainees: family medicine residents and fellows, medical students, pharmacy students, PA students, and APP/NP students.
• Board certified or board eligible Family Medicine Physician
• Active Ohio Medical License in good standing upon effective date of employment
• Excellent clinical and teaching skills
• Must be able to enrich the inter-collaborative culture of the Division

Academic appointment, rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and primary board certification. Compensation is highly competitive.
