UH Urgent Care is seeking a physician looking for full-time or per diem work. Qualified candidates should feel comfortable with minor procedures and wound care consistent with urgent care.
An ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills with staff, ancillary staff, and outside physicians. Plus, an ability to work quickly and manage multiple complicated patients simultaneously.
University Hospitals Samaritan Medical Center is a 52 staffed bed acute care facility located between two of Ohio’s largest cities, Cleveland and Columbus. It was given to the City of Ashland in 1912 by local philanthropists J.L. Clark and his wife, Mary. Mr. and Mrs. Clark decided to build Samaritan Hospital after hearing a Sunday School lesson about the Good Samaritan, noting Ashland needed “a hospital where no sick person would ever be refused care.”
As a not-for-profit organization, UH Samaritan's income is reinvested in the healthcare system, directly impacting the health of the community. The dollars earned allow UH Samaritan to provide state-of-the-art facilities with equally advanced technology and equipment.
