Family Medicine Practitioner, Rural Hall, NC

Northern Medical Group (NMG), a wholly owned subsidiary of Northern Hospital of Surry County is searching for Board Certified Family Practitioners to develop their out-patient practices in its newly forming primary care initiative. Located in Mount Airy, North Carolina, Northern Medical Group is a robust and well established 40 member multi-specialty group practice including: Family Medicine, Pain Management, Orthopedics, General Surgery, Cardiology, Pulmonary, Urology, Gastroenterology, OB/Gyn, Pediatrics and Hospitalists. This represents an outstanding professional opportunity to assist in the growth and development of our thriving provider network in June 2018 at our new office in Rural Hall NC.

Northern Hospital of Surry County is one of Mount Airy’s largest employers. The hospital has 133 beds and offers a state-of-the-art surgical services facility with integrated digital operating rooms, OB unit with Level II nursery and on-unit C-section suite, a Skilled Nursing Facility, full service Hospitalist program, and Emergency Department with expanded services and streamlined patient care.

The practice is located approximately 1.5 hours from Charlotte, 2.5 hours from Raleigh, and 45 minutes from Greensboro. Winston-Salem is a short 15 minute drive away for more exclusive shopping and dining experiences. Population in Mount Airy is around 10,000. Surry County has just over 73,000 citizens and the primary service area of NMG is 80,000+.
