Vidant Medical Group in partnership with The Outer Banks Hospital is currently seeking a BE/BC Emergency Medicine Physician to join its team in Nags Head, North Carolina. Emergency Medicine training is required. FT and PT opportunities are available.

A full service community hospital, The Outer Banks Hospital is a partnership between Vidant Health and Chesapeake Regional Healthcare offering a broad range of inpatient and outpatient care, including surgery, oncology, birthing, diagnostic and 24/7 emergency services. We meet the health care needs of our coastal community, whose year-round population of 35,000 swells to 250,000 in the summer months. Our 83,796 square foot facility includes eighteen (18) acute care medical-surgical beds, two (2) labor and delivery/recovery/post-partum beds, one (1) level II nursery bed and three (3) operating rooms, a designated caesarian section room, and a 24-hour emergency department.

The Outer Banks Hospital provides a full suite of outpatient diagnostic services including 64 slice CT, MRI, Nuclear, PET, Mammography, Flouroscopy, X-Ray, Ultrasound, Bone Dexa and Laboratory services. One hundred percent of our modalities are accredited by the American College of Radiology. Outpatient services include Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy; Cardiopulmonary Rehab and Oncology. The Outer Banks Hospital Cancer Program is nationally accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer. Services include medical oncology, care navigation, symptom management clinic, chemo and radiation therapy.
