Vassar Brothers Medical Center, located in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., is seeking a fellowship trained breast surgeon to lead our NAPBC recognized comprehensive breast program. The practice is comprised of a fellowship trained surgeon, one nurse practitioner, and one physician assistant, located on the campus of Vassar Brothers Medical Center in a new comprehensive breast center with imaging and surgical services in one building.
The successful candidate will have distinguished themselves as a clinically excellent surgeon with leadership potential. We are looking for a leader to help guide the future development of our established breast center and coordinate the expansion to some of our other hospitals. We are looking to add to our existing team to continue the growth of this highly-regarded program to all our other Health Quest hospitals.
There will be no general surgery call required.
Our state of the art multidisciplinary breast center offers: surgery, medical oncology, radiation oncology, radiology, genetic counseling, certified navigator, high risk program, and plastic surgery including microsurgical trained flap surgeons, as well as many other supportive services.
We provide 3D imaging, seed localizations, intraoperative radiation therapy, and clinical trials for our patients.
