Adolescent Medicine at LifeLong Medical Care

Job description

•Performs general dentistry services, including the diagnosis and treatment of diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth, gums, and related oral structures •Examines patients to determine the nature of the conditioning affecting the patient, utilizing x-rays, dental instruments, and other diagnostic procedures •Performs all aspects of general dentistry such as, but not limited to, fillings, extractions, root canals, removable and fixed prosthetics, and preventive care. •Provides oral hygiene services to include dental prophylaxis, periodontal treatment and oral hygiene education. •Evaluates and assesses medical history for appropriate follow-up and treatment, provides referrals as appropriate •Practices in compliance with Lifelong policies and all relevant regulations, including Title 22, Medi-Cal, the local health department, etc. •Provides dental services to Lifelong Medical Care contracted agencies. •Updates and develops dental programs to improve the dental care of our patients as needed. •Works as a team member to support the smooth flow of dental care to the patients throughout the day. •Maintains continuing education requirements. •Assumes other duties as assigned by the Dental Director.

Candidate Requirements California In-person interview •Successful completion of a dental program (DMD or DDS) and Dental Board Examinations •Current and valid California Dental License. •Current AHA approved CPR certification.

LifeLong Over 60 Health Center has approximately 15 medical providers and several mental health and support professionals. We see over 1,800 patients each month. Our multi-site Community Health Centers feature several locations in Berkeley, Oakland, Richmond, San Pablo and Novato. Our health centers provide a wide range of services.
